2009 Auction Item Testimonial

Private Flute Recital

We had our flute recital with Christopher Chaffee this past weekend - hosted 16 people at the house. Turned out to be a fun event and Chris provided a nice mix of flute music with a little bit of flute history. Inger Neighbours accompanied Chris on one piece and also played a solo.

Chris was very easy to work with and willing to tailor the event to make it a special "one of a kind" performance. We were very happy with our TLT Auction purchase - maybe he'll do it again next year.

Thanks - Roger & Macy

2009 Auction Item Testimonial

South Carolina Beach House

"If you are looking for a quiet vacation, lazy evenings on the porch, walks, reading on the beach, this would be the place that I would return to often.  About a mile from the beach, in a Wyndim community, the house easily holds 6 with two screened-in porches, three bedrooms, two full baths, plenty of seating inside and out, in a quiet neighborhood of other homes.  Wood floors throughout the home except for the bedrooms; plenty of ceiling fans; a nice long ramp with stairs located optionally on the side, parking for four cars, grill outside and plenty of kitchen implements to make cooking easy.  Washer/dryer, vacuum, iron and ironing board are nice additions.

"I think that it was a great house.  Just 10 minutes walking to the beach.  I would cook meals rather than go out; although, the pizza place wasn't bad.  They have a grill.  You can always drive to Charleston one day.  There are great restaurants there."

"You can get great fresh seafood in the area (fresh as in you have to clean it before you cook it). The beach was great! Very clean, nice sand. McKonkey's jungle hut was great for lunch. The Piggly Wiggly has all the necessities, plus a great selection of beer. You can Karaoke on Monday nights at Whaley's (make sure you and your friends imbibe enough to make it tolerable)!"
